I only messed around with it for about 20 minutes and then had a look through the patch file, but from the time I spent with it and the changes I saw in the patch file, it feels kind of boring since nothing really gets the chance to shoot back at you. The increased damage the player takes doesn't really matter when the enemies go down before they can get off a few shots. You might actually have to hit them twice for some of the pistols.
